The scope of this project includes planning, alternative analysis, preliminary engineering, preparation of schematics, Phase I environmental site assessment, surveying, ROW mapping, geotechnical investigation, drainage (hydrology and hydraulics), public involvement, and agency coordination.
 
The project also includes preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) to include ROW acquisition, geotechnical investigation, roadway and drainage design, utility relocations, surveying, TxDOT coordination, and construction management services.  The project extends from US 59 to FM 1640/Spur 529 on the west side of the

It includes widening existing Bamore Road from 2-lane open ditch roadway section to a 4-lane concret curb and gutter boulevard section with storm sewer, from US 59 to Klauke Road, and a 3-lane concrete curb and gutter section with an underground storm sewer system from Klauke Road to US 90A/SH 36/SPUR 529.  The roadway improvements include ROW takings, and coordination with various drainage systems (Dry Creek, Seabourne Creek, and Brazos River).
 
The $6.5 million project was 80% funded by the City of Rosenberg and 20% by Fort Bend County, and designed to connect to TxDOT roadways.  The project includes 100 feet wide of ROW along the 1.7-mile long corridor.  The project is planned to be developed to connect to TxDOT On-System highway and FM roadways.
