IDC provided program mangement services to ensure the project met the client’s needs and remained within budget and on schedule.  Design started in the summer of 2004.  IDC conducted meetings with the A/E team, school district staff, and a design committee comprised of campus faculty, community members, and school district staff to assist in the development of the design.  In addition, IDC furnished the client and A/E team with construction cost budgets based on the design, and construction management services during the construction phase. 
 
Varied facilities were consolidated into one campus site.  To achieve this, a master plan

Project Cost

was developed to complete the project in multiple phases.  Renovations include new interior finishes throughout, replace most of the existing HVAC system and install new HVAC control systems, modify the fire alarm system, install a new fire sprinkler system, and bring the facility into ADA compliance. 
 
Phase I will add three new additions and renovate the science wing, vocational corridor, ROTC wing, art wing, competition gym, and boys locker room.  The three new additions consist of four new classroom additions, chemistry wing, six additional classrooms, and a new multipurpose wing which includes a weight room, dance room, and offices.  Phase II will add one new addition and renovate the library, administration offices, and classrooms on the south portion of the facility.  The new addition consists of a new Special Education wing, a life skills area, special education classroom, and offices.  Phase III will renovate the north portion of the facility which includes the auditorium, band hall, recreation areas, and classrooms.
